Terms of Use
The terms for using this website. The contract for actual work is a separate document you sign.
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms cover the website, not the work. Electrical work is done under a written home improvement contract signed before work starts, as California law requires. Nothing on this site is that contract, and nothing here changes it.
Who you are dealing with
https://alwaysc10.com is operated by ALWAYS ELECTRICAL & MAINTENANCE, a California licensed contractor — CSLB #944166, classification C-10 Electrical. You can verify that licence, and its status, bond and any history, at the Contractors State License Board: cslb.ca.gov. We would rather you did.
Estimates are planning ranges, not quotes
Every number this site produces is a planning range, generated from what you typed and from typical costs. It is there so you can tell whether a project is a five-thousand-dollar conversation or a fifty-thousand-dollar one.
- It is not a quote, a bid, an offer, or a price we have agreed to hold.
- It is not binding on us or on you.
- A real price requires seeing the site — the panel, the roof, the run, the existing wiring.
- What the utility and the local building department require can move a number substantially.
A price becomes real when it is written in a signed contract, and not before.
What we are licensed to do
Our licence is C-10, electrical. That is the work we do and the work we advertise. Where a project involves other trades — roofing on a detach-and-reset, or the building work on a new house or ADU — we do the electrical scope, and the roofer or the general contractor does theirs under their own licence and their own contract with you.
Sparko
Sparko, the assistant on this site, is software. It is useful for orientation and it will get things wrong. It cannot quote a price, cannot commit us to anything, and cannot tell you with certainty what your city will require. Nothing it says is professional advice or an offer, and none of it binds us. When it matters, call (619) 415-5514 and talk to a person.
Do not rely on it in an emergency. If you smell burning, see scorching, or think something is live that should not be, stop, keep away from it, and call us — or 911 if there is fire or injury.
Do not attempt electrical work from anything you read here
Nothing on this site is instructions for doing your own electrical work. Working inside a live panel kills people who know what they are doing. Information here is for understanding what a job involves, not for performing it.
Using the site
Please do not:
- Scrape, spider, or bulk-download it.
- Automate the assistant or the estimate tool, or try to run up our costs.
- Submit somebody else's contact details as your own.
- Interfere with the site or try to reach parts of it that are not public.
The text, photographs, and the ground mark on this site are ours. Please do not reuse them.
Accuracy
We keep this site accurate and current, and it will still sometimes be neither. Rates, equipment, code requirements and utility rules change. The site is provided as it is, without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. None of that limits our responsibility for work we actually perform — that lives in your contract and in California contractor law, and we are not trying to shrink it here.
Complaints
Call us first — most things are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it than have you write to a regulator about it. If that does not resolve it, you can take a complaint about a licensed California contractor to the CSLB at cslb.ca.gov. These terms are governed by California law.
