Our credentials — what we send you
Before you put us on your customer's roof, here is what you get from us. The exchange goes both ways.
Last updated 13 October 2026
You are being asked to put a subcontractor on your customer's roof, under your name. You should see our paperwork before you do that, and you should not have to ask twice for it.

What we send you on onboarding
- Certificate of insurance — general liability, naming your company as additional insured for liability arising out of our work, with the endorsement attached, not just the certificate.
- Contractor's bond — surety and bond number.
- Workers' compensation position — current certificate, or the exemption on file, stated plainly either way.
- W-9, so your accounts payable can set us up.
- A copy of the signed master subcontract and your rate schedule.
These go to a named person at your company by email. They are not posted here — a certificate of insurance on an open web page is an invitation to use it.
⚠️ A certificate is not an endorsement, and only one of them does anything. Additional-insured status comes from an endorsement issued by the insurer — the certificate is just evidence that one exists. We send both, and we ask for both. If anyone hands you a certificate alone and calls it cover, it is worth one more question.
What we ask from you
- Your CSLB licence number and every classification on it
- Your certificate of insurance and endorsement, naming us as additional insured on your general liability for liability arising out of your work
- Your workers' compensation certificate
- The person who signs, and the person who pays
Your classifications are not a formality. They decide what you may lawfully contract for, and therefore how any add-on or upgrade work is structured between us — a roofing classification does not cover solar or electrical work, and routing it the wrong way creates a problem for your licence, not just ours.
Nothing on this page is an offer or a contract. The signed master subcontract and its work orders are.
